Following the assignment of the .radio top-level domain registry from the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) to Digity, LLC, EBU has decided to cease the operations of the register.radio service, which has been operated by COREhub SRLU on EBU’s behalf until now. Therefore, all domain names sponsored by register.radio will be transferred to an ICANN-accredited registrar affiliated with Digity, LLC: Sav.com, LLC. Therefore, from September 1st, 2026, neither COREhub SRLU nor EBU will have any responsibility for the management of these domains.

This transfer will be carried out in accordance with ICANN’s Bulk Transfer After Partial Portfolio Acquisition (BTAPPA) process; and all other applicable ICANN Policies remain in effect.

What this means for registrants:

• No action is required.
• All .radio domain name(s) will be transferred from COREhub to Sav.com automatically, except if, at the time of the transfer, a domain name is in one of these Registry EPP statuses: pendingTransfer, pendingDelete, redemptionPeriod or pendingRestore.
• domain name(s) will remain active, with no change to registration terms, expiration dates, or ownership rights. In case an account has sufficient funds, the domain/s will be renewed prior to the transfer.
• DNS services will continue to function without interruption.
• Registration data will be transferred securely and handled in accordance with ICANN policies and applicable data protection laws.
• Web forwarding and profile page services will be provided by Sav.com.
• As Sav.com does not currently offer email services, COREhub will continue to maintain existing mailboxes, allowing ample time to find an alternative provider. All existing email addresses and aliases will remain functional. No new mailboxes or aliases can be created. In November 2027 the mail service will shut down.

Once the transfer is completed, Sav.com will become the sponsoring registrar for .radio domain name(s), and customers will receive further information directly from Sav.com regarding account access and registrar services.

Upon migration of a domain name(s) to Sav.com, the same registration data will be published in the RDDS (WHOIS/RDAP) services.

Note that if you are a customer and do not want to be part of this migration to Sav.com, you must transfer your domain to another .radio accredited registrar before August 31st, 2026. For such transfers the normal transfer process can be used until the migration date.

From September 1st, 2026 it will no longer be possible to login to register.radio and everything in regards to your domain will be at sav.com
